Life at the Swineharts

Miss Priss is growing so fast. I feel like she changes every single day! Everyday I look at her I notice someone different in her. She is so beautiful!

The boys look so sweet here! Won't tell you that it took all I had to get them all to smile at the same time and to stop fighting over who got to hold "the little princess". Ahh! But aren't they sweet:-)

The boys first tube slide experience at Carowinds!! They loved it!!!All six of us made the trip. Even Ava got to ride in the lazy river!

Daddy never gets to mow the lawn with his new mower by himself!! Avary and I decided it is fun to be a girl and eat ice cream and watch!!

THe BIG PUMP IT UP birtrhday day party!! It was so much fun. My mom and sister started a family tradition that when you turn five you have your big party at Pump it Up. So we followed suit. It was a BLAST!! There was sweaty kids everywhere. Pizza and cake just topped it off.

Our sweet Avary is getting so big!! Here she is 4 weeks old. She still pretty much sleeps all day and all night. (well most nights)

Here we are making birthday cup cakes for Ty's 5th birthday!! Wow! He is 5! We were sad Daddy was in Ohio, but we made the best of it! Ty got to pick out what we ate and what we did all day long. So, we started out with "mommy's waffles" and a trip to the park. We then headed to Chick fil a for lunch with our friend Keri and Jaeda. After putting Dylan down for a nap, we did Ty's favorite thing! We practiced writing our ABC's and 123's. Kathy came and then we ran to get some goodies. We had pizza for dinner and movie night! We got to watch Curious George, our favorite!!

Kathy, one of the sweetest, most caring woman I have ever met! She called on her way back into town to see if she could give me a break and keep the kids! (Dust was out of town for the weekend) I mean, hello, who thinks of that!!?? She came over to hold sweet Ava, while Dylan napped, and the big boys and I ran to the store to get stuff to make birthday cup cakes and a new pair of crocs! The boys LOVED her and talked about her for the rest of the weekend. Thanks Kathy, we love you and are blessed to have you in our lives.

Here is Bryce being a silly little boy. Anytime the camera is out, they all decide it is time to be silly. I think we have a million tongue pictures of each boy.

I really can't believe it has been 2 weeks since I took this picture! Where does time go? Well here we see our sweet Dylan in his crib during nap time. He usually plays for awhile before he decides to lay down. This day was no different, except I still heard him playing an hour and a half later! So I resigned myself to the fact that today he was not going to sleep. I go up to get him and as soon as I walk up the stairs, I smell it!! I walk in and ask Dylan what he is doing. All he says is "poo poo mommy" and points to his bed. He says "I poo poo on potty Mommy." Well, little buddy, when Mommy puts a diaper on, you can poo in your diaper. He shows me where his diaper is (on the floor) and shows me how he wiped poo all over the rails, the sheet, his clothes, and his hair. Well needless to say, we threw him in the shower!

The Swinehart kids

Tyler: Is turning 5 tomorrow!! We can't believe our "baby" is getting so big and old! It sure has gone by so fast. Ty loves to play soccer and really could play all day, everyday. He loves to know all the details of every game that daddy plays. He usually knows who scores and how they scored. He says when he grows up he wants to play soccer like daddy. (sometimes he wants to be a Dr and deliver babies) Ty has a sweet heart for the Lord and we love watching him teach his brothers Bible stories and tell them about Jesus. He will be staying home again next school year as we do some home schooling. He is excited! He loves to write letters to people and loves to add!

Bryce:Is three and a half! It is so important to remember that half:-) Bryce just asked Jesus into his heart on Tuesday night! He has been talking about it for four months, saying he just was not ready. On Tuesday night Daddy was reading them a parable and during it, Bryce decided he wanted to ask Jesus into his heart. It was so priceless and his joy and excitement was so obvious. Amazing! He too, LOVES soccer. He plays so hard against Ty and manages to do pretty well. He is a natural athlete for sure. Bryce will be doing a little bit of home school this fall as well. He is learning how to write his letters and is doing amazingly well. Anything to keep up with the big brother.

Dylan:Is almost 22 months! He is so big! Dylan is doing well on the potty training end! It is a lot with a new baby, but we are excited to save a few bucks on diapers, so I guess it is worth it. Dylan can now count to 13!! He gets so excited. He can count to 5 in Spanish too :-) He almost has his ABC's down too. Dylan too, enjoys soccer, but usually does not try for too long to keep up. So we end up playing baseball. He is about to head to the big boy bed! He trys every night to sleep in the boys room. Soon my little one, very soon :-)

Avary:Is going to be 4 weeks on Saturday! (She is due today:) She is grown so much already. She is so beautiful and I really just stare at her in amazement. She is so tiny and so perfect. My heart just bubbles over with joy every time I hold her. Time is going way too fast already. Strange feeling to know that this is our last little one (planned that is). The boys of course are still in love with "the little princess".

Time flys when you are having fun!

We just came off an amazing week! The boys are still talking about Ben and Maddie. Sunday, July 15 was the beginining of a week that the boys will never forget! Ben (9) and Maddie (10)Locke flew down from Ohio to spend the week with us and at eagles soccer camp. The boys made signs to pick them up from the airport and cleared out Dylan's and Avary's seats so their new friends could read them stories all the way home. They could not believe that they both could read! (or tie shoes, or run so fast, or kick the ball so high)

The boys were excited to share their room with Ben. I still can't believe they actually slept. Everyday they woke at 7 and started playing soccer! They then headed off to soccer camp and played for hours, only to come home again to play more soccer. They did take a few breaks to play games, swim, play hide and seek and swing on the ball swing. Dylan even was taken by Ben. He wanted to stay at camp and see Ben everyday. Ben would carry Dylan around the house. We had a blast with the Locke kids and were very sad to see them leave on Saturday. The boys got a new big brother present! Hungry, Hungry Hippos game! They love it and have played it everyday!!!

Avary Joy Swinehart

Avary Joy, June 30, 2007. 5:27 AM. 7lbs. 5 oz. 20 in long. Strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. So super cute!!!! The boys are loving their baby sister and just say the cutest things to her and about her. Here are a few. Ty: "Oh mom, she is the most beautiful girl in the whole world." " I think Avary is the prettiest. She is even prettier than mommy." Bryce to Ava when she cries; "Oh Avra( he mixes avary and ava) , what is the matter baby girl." And Dylan, every time he hears her cry, he runs out from where he is and laughs and says "baby cry". They love to hold her and kiss her and talk the cutest baby talk to her. They ask everyday how many days old she it. Dust and I are so in love as well. It is so fun to have a daughter. It is precious to watch Daddy hold his sweet little angel and kiss her little nose. I love to hold her and snuggle her close as I pray for her. It has been so fun to dress her in pink and in dresses! It is a sweet time for me as we near the one year anniversary of my mothers death. The Lord has blessed me with a sweet baby girl and as I pray for her, I thank God for the time I had with my mom. It is over whelming to think about my responsibility to my daughter to raise her to be a God fearing woman. A woman that is humble, submissive, and that has a gentle spirit. I thank God for those qualities that my mom showed me in different ways. God is so good and knows what we need at just the right time. Avary's arrival could not have been more perfect!! Thanks for your prayers and enjoy the pics of our little princess.

A fun filled week

We had a very busy week last week. The big boys had eagles camp and then swim lessons everyday last week. They loved every moment of it. Ty's favorite part of camp was scoring 3 goals in one game and Bryce scoring they winning goal to put them up 4-3!! Go Swinehart boys! They did amazing. Memorized the bible verse for the week the first day. Wacky Wednesday was a hit too. They got to paint their hair orange and green. They did great at swim lessons too. Ty can now swim across the whole pool all by himself. Bryce is so close. He sure does all he can to keep up with his big bro. Mommy and Dylan had a date every morning. We had lunch with friends, time at Barnes and Noble, a morning at the pool, and an appointment to hear baby Ava. But Dylan really wanted a piece of soccer camp too, until he got too hot. We are waiting for the baby to make her appearance. Tyler is very excited to "hold and kiss his baby sister." But we are praying she waits for Daddy to get home from Atlanta. Enjoy the pics!!

Things we do to pass time while daddy is gone

The boys had just finished breakfast when they decided to go upstairs and play in their "band". (Mind you it is just 7:00 Am) So as I was cleaning the syrup off the counters and floors (how this always happens, I do not know), I hear giggles, giggles, and more giggles. So I went up to see what was going on. The boys decided they needed special clothes to play in their band today. I admired their crafty outfits while cleaning up all the clothes they had taken out of the drawers that did not make the cut!! They sure keep me moving!!

more pictures

Is it really already June

Man time sure is flying! I can't believe it is already June. The boys and I have had a lot of adventures this summer with Daddy traveling a lot. We went to the zoo and had a blast. The boys loved the screaming monkeys and the bears giving each other a piggy back ride. We have enjoyed catching frogs, turtles, centipedes, and millions of catapillars at the park and in our own back yard. The boys love to play t-ball, golf, and soccer almost daily! Keeps them good and tired and keeps the house nice and clean!! We have loved being at the pool, even though keeping an out for three boys who all think they can swim is a little nerve wracking. Dylan is trying to get the hang of his big boy undies like his big bros. He does great if we are outside and he can go on a tree. He much preferes that to the potty. Ty and Bryce are looking forward to their swim lessons that start next week and then eagles soccer camp the next week.

My sweet friends threw me a baby shower this past weekend. I called it "the pink party". It was geat! I don't think I will tire of seeing pink anytime soon. Avary got lots of sweet outfits and blankets. We can't wait to see her. She has lots of clothes she has to wear in just a short time. She may have to wear two a day to get them all worn!!

Dust has been busy with soccer. They are doing well!! He is traveling a lot so far, but enjoying being with the guys. Our big prayer is that he is here for the birth of his only daughter!!!
